i wish it would rain forever. the water beating down on u. the wind whipping your exposed body. the thunder creating a lovely drumbeat. the lightning splitting the sky in half. the wonderful blue-grey sky. standing. with arms outstretched. eyes closed. head back. the music of the rain. beautiful sounds. cool washing. of earth and soul. peeling away layers of my facade. and i can be truly me.


yet. if it were to rain forever. the sunshine will never come. no warm rays to dry my fears and tears. the special feeling of rain will too be lost. turned bland by the constant water flow. the cool refreshing after-rain air will never come about. how then can i fulfill my wish?
